At MJP, we believe in the power of community outreach and the importance of giving back. Our Community outreach initiatives are designed to uplift, support, and inspire, making a positive impact on the lives of those around us. Here’s how we’re making a difference:

The Norwich Law Walk is happening on 17 September 2025. We are raising money for Norfolk Community Law Service (https://www.ncls.co.uk/ ) and Norfolk Citizens Advice Bureau (https://www.ncab.org.uk/).
If you want to come along and support we will be meeting at East Anglian Chambers for Registration & welcome drinks from 4:45pm, we will then have a group photo at 5:45pm before aiming to set off on the Walk at 6pm.
Recently, three of our staff committed to running a marathon over the course of May in aid of Little Lifts’ Step Into May Challenge and raised close to £400!
Emma, Kaitlyn and Tabitha donned their trainers and headed out over the month to walk and run some serious mileage.
Overall they raised a fantastic £396 and beat the team target distance of 78.6 miles to reach a whopping 115 miles placing them second in the leaderboard (with one of our members almost doubling the individual target of 26.2 miles).
Little Lifts is a local Norwich charity that work directly with hospitals in East Anglia to help support people affected by breast cancer with a thoughtfully curated Little Lifts Box at the beginning of their chemotherapy or radiotherapy treatment.

We are proud sponsors of Easton FC, a local football team composed of talented 12-year-olds with big dreams. By providing support and resources, we aim to nurture their skills, boost their confidence, and foster a strong sense of community spirit. Our sponsorship helps ensure that these young athletes have the opportunity to train, compete, and grow in a supportive environment. We are committed to empowering the next generation, knowing that today’s youth are tomorrow’s leaders.
Taking part in abseiling events is one of the exhilarating ways we have contributed to charitable causes.
Our team bravely descended from heights, not just for the thrill of it, but to raise funds and awareness for Age UK
Megan and Phillippa raised £290 and in total Age UK Norwich raised over £6,500
Megan commenting on the experience said ‘I enjoyed the abseil and looks forward to doing it from a greater height or even a charity skydive!’
Phillippa on the other hand had a different experience ‘ I was absolutely terrified, my legs were like jelly, and I gripped the rope so hard, my hands went white. I am not a fan of heights, but I did it to raise awareness for a good cause’.
This adventurous spirit reflects our dedication to stepping out of comfort zones and making a tangible difference in the lives of those who need it most. The abseil event is a testament to our commitment to supporting diverse causes with passion and enthusiasm.
We love combining fun with philanthropy, and participating in charity quizzes is the perfect way to do just that. These events are a wonderful opportunity for team-building and community engagement while raising funds for vital causes. Through friendly competition and lively interactions, we’re able to shine a light on important issues and encourage collective action. Our involvement in these quizzes is a fantastic way to engage with the community in a meaningful and enjoyable manner.
Recently members of MJP took part in a Halloween Charity Quiz night organised by Age UK at the Maids Head Hotel with special guest Norwich City legend Jeremy Goss.
We came a respectable sixth out of around twenty teams and only eight points off the eventual winners.
This was followed by a raffle and auction to raise money much needed funds to support Age UK Norwich.
A great time was had by all!
As part of our aim to give back to the local community this festive season, we are supporting The Benjamin Foundation Christmas Gift Appeal. The Benjamin Foundation focuses on tackling youth homelessness, early years education support and mental health services.
This year they are requesting individual gifts or a group present for their young carers groups.
If you would like to join us in supporting the gift appeal or wish to know more, please following the link below. If you are unable to take gifts directly to their centre then please feel free to drop these at our office before the 29 November.
We warmly invite charities and organisations to reach out to us and share information about upcoming events and initiatives. At MJP, we are always eager to explore new opportunities for collaboration and community engagement. By working together, we can amplify our impact and support causes that truly matter. If you have an event or initiative that aligns with our mission to make a positive difference, we encourage you to get in touch. Let’s join forces to build a vibrant and supportive community, making a lasting impact for all.
