Is your conveyancer prepared and equipped to deal with further Covid 19 related disruption?

We continue to live in uncertain times, and although we are all doing all we can to avoid a further lockdown, the possibility of this happening either locally or nationally remains high.

For this reason none of us can afford to be complacent and the need to be ‘prepared’ remains a priority for most businesses.

We are no exception and are in fact we believe better equipped than most to deal with a further lockdown.

In 2011 we had the foresight of building our own case management system that was specifically designed to allow our lawyers to process work remotely. This involved establishing a paperless office and the ability to share work between our employees electronically.

During the March Lockdown, the system was very much put to the test. We are pleased to say the infrastructure allowed us to provide a ’normal’ service from home and deliver over 200 completed transactions. We provided our clients with regular updates and were able to keep in touch with everyone. Though this was a dark time for the country, we consider we were able to make sure none of our clients were left to worry about their transactions. Wherever possible, work continued to be undertaken.

So if further disruption lies ahead, we do believe that irrespective of whatever stage you are with your transaction, we will be able to steer you through to the end without the fear of any interruption to our award-winning service.

The above demonstrates the need to make sure that before you engage a conveyancer to act for you in the sale or purchase of a property, that you check to see how they performed during the last Lockdown. To understand that they are prepared for and equipped to deal with any further disruption.
