We are currently recruiting for the following positions:
Paralegal
MJP Conveyancing are looking for Trainee Paralegals and experienced conveyancing personnel to join our award-winning team based at our modern Norwich office.

The ideal candidate will have graduated with a Law Degree, or have experience working in Conveyancing and will be used to working under pressure given that we are an extremely busy firm. Good customer service skills are also incredibly important as we are a firm that has high client care standards.
We are not your traditional Conveyancing firm and embrace technology in a bid to make the process more efficient for ourselves and for our clients. The ideal candidate will receive full, on the job training in relation to the system and our processes and will be supported by the Team Leader and colleagues.
The main duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Communicating with clients and others in person, on the phone, by letter or by email;
- Using our bespoke case management system to update clients and third parties
- Taking instructions from clients
- Seeking to protect clients' interests at all times, while taking precautions against potential fraud and money laundering;
- Drafting or checking sales contracts and agreeing terms with the conveyancer acting for the other party to the transaction
- Collating and sending or checking supporting legal and financial documents;
- Dealing with financial aspects of a transaction such as statements and payments to third parties.
- Mortgage reporting
- Our brand-new Norwich office is based on Thorpe Road which is walking distance from the city centre and close to several transport links making it a central and contemporary work space.
Salary is negotiable and dependent on experience.
As part of our on-boarding background checks made we will establish your eligibility to work in the UK, a DBS check will also be undertaken.
